Flexible Interaction Placement

I’ve been using Dadan to build interactive videos for teaching, and one limitation is slowing me down: once an interaction is added, it can’t be moved along the timeline. If I miss the exact second, I have to delete and rebuild it. For educators working with long, time-coded transcripts, that adds a lot of unnecessary trial and error.

Would you consider adding:

Drag-and-drop repositioning of interactions on the timeline

Manual timestamp editing (type in or adjust the exact time)

(Optional but very helpful) Bulk import via CSV, so questions can be prepared offline and aligned with transcripts before upload

These are standard in other interactive video platforms (e.g., H5P, PlayPosit, Edpuzzle), and adding them to Dadan would save educators significant time, make quiz timing more accurate, and improve the overall workflow.

    Having a robust library of assets at the foundational level of Dadan and then a pathway to reuse assets (questions, forms, quiz, etc.) inside videos in steps may make CVS upload easier. 1. Choose time of asset 2. Access library 3. Place asset - instead of actually creating the asset at the video level.

      This path could also work to store video templates, intro/outro videos, etc. Anything that could make the video customized could be created inside of a (organized library of assets with folders and pathways) workspace via upload and with Dadan tools already available. But you don’t use the assets inside that workspace- you just use that space to build things you want to see repeated in videos. Then inside the video editing tool, that’s where you pull in assets.
