Add Native Meeting Recording Option in Browser Extension and App

Currently, the Dadan browser extension only supports manual video recording. It would be very helpful to add a dedicated meeting recording option directly within both the browser extension and the desktop app.

At the moment, users must open the Dadan dashboard and manually paste the meeting link in order to start a meeting recording. This creates unnecessary friction and slows down workflows, especially for users who join multiple meetings daily.

Proposed improvement:

Add a simple “Meeting Recording” option inside the extension and app that includes:

  • A small form to paste the meeting link (Google Meet, Zoom, Microsoft Teams, etc.)

  • An optional meeting title input to easily identify recordings later

  • Automatic triggering of the recording in the Dadan dashboard once submitted

  • Clear status indication (recording scheduled / recording started)

Benefits of this feature:

  • Eliminates the need to open the dashboard separately

  • Enables faster meeting capture with fewer steps

  • Improves organization when handling multiple meeting recordings

  • Creates a smoother, more intuitive user experience

  • Encourages higher adoption of meeting recording features

This enhancement would make Dadan feel more like a true all-in-one recording tool, allowing users to start meeting recordings directly from where they work—without switching tabs or performing manual setup steps.
